Stats-Calculus Pose Descriptor Feeding A Discrete HMM Low-latency Detection and Recognition System For 3D Skeletal Actions
نویسنده
چکیده
Abstract Recognition of human actions, under low observational latency, is a growing interest topic, nowadays. Many approaches have been represented based on a provided set of 3D Cartesian coordinates system originated at a certain specific point located on a root joint. In this paper, We will present a statistical detection and recognition system using Hidden Markov Model using 7 types of pose descriptors.

Alert correlation and prediction using data mining and HMM
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) are security tools widely used in computer networks. While they seem to be promising technologies, they pose some serious drawbacks: When utilized in large and high traffic networks, IDSs generate high volumes of low-level alerts which are hardly manageable. Accordingly, there emerged a recent track of security research, focused on alert correlation, which ext...

Gesture and motion recognition are needed for a variety of applications. The use of human hand motions as a natural interface tool has motivated researchers to conduct research in the modeling, analysis and recognition of various hand movements. In particular, human-computer intelligent interaction has been a focus of research in vision-based gesture recognition. In this work, we introduce a 3-...
متن کاملAn evaluation of 3D motion flow and 3D pose estimation for human action recognition
Modern human action recognition algorithms which exploit 3D information mainly classify video sequences by extracting local or global features from the RGB-D domain or classifying the skeleton information provided by a skeletal tracker. In this paper, we propose a comparison between two techniques which share the same classification process, while differing in the type of descriptor which is cl...
متن کامل3D Models Recognition in Fourier Domain Using Compression of the Spherical Mesh up to the Models Surface
Representing 3D models in diverse fields have automatically paved the way of storing, indexing, classifying, and retrieving 3D objects. Classification and retrieval of 3D models demand that the 3D models represent in a way to capture the local and global shape specifications of the object. This requires establishing a 3D descriptor or signature that summarizes the pivotal shape properties of th...
متن کاملPresentation of K Nearest Neighbor Gaussian Interpolation and comparing it with Fuzzy Interpolation in Speech Recognition
Hidden Markov Model is a popular statisical method that is used in continious and discrete speech recognition. The probability density function of observation vectors in each state is estimated with discrete density or continious density modeling. The performance (in correct word recognition rate) of continious density is higher than discrete density HMM, but its computation complexity is very ...
